Doha Review: Lagenda Restaurant @ Holiday Villa

I had lunch today at Lagenda Restaurant in Holiday Villa at Al Muntazah, Doha with a friend whom also works there. They had a decent selection of lunch buffet, and the iced tea (was too sweet for me) but it complimented very well with the food we had.

The buffet consisted of

  • Seafood soup
  • Minestrone (this was very watered down, and had the tom tum texture but had alot of vegetables and macaroni in it)
  • Jasmine rice
  • Herb rice
  • Mutton curry
  • Beef curry
  • Chicken curry
  • Potato wedges (this was very tasty and lightly salted)
  • Oyster mushroom and broccoli mix
  • Beef noodle station
  • Salad station with a handful of toppings (yogurt included!) and hummus
  • Decent dessert station with Malaysian dessert such as pandan cake and corn pudding
The staff were attentive and cleared our plates immediately after each meal. Although I think they were probably afraid of my friend whom happens to run her team with much firmness.

My tab came up to 91 Riyals, after a 30% discounted rate
