Book Review: Second Purchase at BookDepository

Tuesday, January 06, 2015 0 Comments
I know there are plenty of good and bad reviews for this website. For one their customer service lacks the 'personal' touch. They start off with generic responses and when you email them with words like 'refund' they start taking your emails seriously.

Which in my opinion they should in the first place. That's why customer service is created in the first place. To make customers feel good about their purchase!

This time I took the risk and bought 4 books which totalled up to RM 207. Again I did a price comparison with Aido.com and I was paying about RM 110 extra ( not including shipping charges of about RM 50) so I went back to BookDepository and carefully selected the cheapest paperbacks available. If the book is published earlier then its cheaper. After about 1 hour of hunting and scrutinizing their availability for delivery I decided on the following books

I had moved out from my serviced apartment to a villa so this time I added my husband's PO box address because I have a feeling they're not going to deliver it to my doorstep.

Mark the date today fellas: its the 6th January 2015

I will update this entry when I receive the books

I received all but the Emperor of Maladies in the first week of February, to be precise on the 2nd February

Mombo BreastFeeding Pillow

Thursday, January 01, 2015 0 Comments
What more can I say? It's the best breastfeeding pillow around. Altough marked at well above 200 riyals it is money well spent!!

The pillow doesn't shrink. I have been using it on a daily basis to feed my son (both bottle and the breast)

The vibrator calms down my son on really bad days

It wedges comfortable around my waist

My son sleeps off comfortably on the thing while I breastfeed

The fucking vibrator goes on and off intermittently at the slightest of movement

The battery doesn't last very long. At most it lasted for a month

Its too high for a small baby if you're resting his head on the pillow to feed him the bottle.

And now some GRAINY IMAGES of the pillow

Deleting Sent Images on WhatsApp

Thursday, January 01, 2015 1 Comments
I don't know if you KNOW this but WhatsApp stores images you send to people on your device storage. So that means if you send a same picture to 10 different people or groups the image is saved 10 times on your storage device and it's up to you to delete it. This shit takes up space, and soon you'd be running out of space.

Either WhatsApp hasn't figure out this bug

its just ignoring it

its expecting people to manually delete it themselves

they're just too lazy to put up an option for users on their SETTINGS

Whatever the reason I am here to sort this shit out for you

I am using Samsung Note 4 and on this device you do the following

1. Go to your My Files folder

2. Go to Device Storage

3. Go to WhatsApp directory

3. Go go Media directory

4. Go to WhatsApp Images

5. You will have to scroll down the directory because FIRST you will see the images people had SENT TO YOU. WHATSAPP makes it hard for you to find the SENT folder because it is sitting at the bottom of the directory.

6. Go to the SENT folder and delete all the images there

The second drawback is that you have to MANUALLY check on all the image boxes that you want to delete in order to remove them. You know what I do, I plug in the SAMSUNG to my laptop and remove the images from there in one click. Makes the job much easier to accomplish

Viber Video Call Not Working: How To Fix It on Android

Bitch please!

I have come across this situation on my Samsung Note 4 several times and figured out how to solve it. Bear in mind it happens after every Viber update which MEANS VIBER HASN'T FIGURED OUT THE SOLUTION YET OR DON'T KNOW THERE IS A SHITTY BUG GOING AROUND IN THEIR SOFTWARE

So here's the solution. It might do the trick or it might not work for you. Depending on what version of Android and hardware you're using (Iphone, Samsung, HTC)

Now wasn't that easy?
