Lunch at Flying Chillies @Gardens

Friday, September 17, 2010 3 Comments

Sooooooo it was a public holiday yesterday and I had the time to pick up my sister's engagement video and coffee table book as well as have a long lunch at Gardens afterwards

I loved the pad Thai, it was spicy and the drink was very very cooling. But it made my heart burn worse and I had to see the doc again this morning for another round of meds. Last week she treated me for U**, which caused the heart burn in the first place.

Some pictures after the jump

Pad Thai noodles (made vegetarian for me)

It cost me RM 16.50

And I loved every spicy bite of it!

This drink was called FC punch and it cost me RM 12. It was a concoction of strawberry, soursoup and mango. Wiped it all. Total tab including tax? RM 33

I had Claypot Yee Mee and Strawberry Shortcake. Tabd came to about RM 29.90 inc tax

Dark ambiance

Loved my drink

Claypot Yee Mee

The Menu

Then we went walking to the small mart there, which really made a good impression on me because it looked really really very well kept and squeaky clean (no food drips or water spot on the floor) There were tons of cheese to choose from, most of them are not even available in super marts like Jusco or Carrefour

The best part was coming across the famous Wagyu Meat!! Couldn't resist taking some pictures!!

For a prime rib!!

You got to love the Japs!

Book Fest @KLCC

Monday, September 06, 2010 0 Comments
As usual, the book fest @ KLCC Convention Centre is full of last year's or the year before's ex-best sellers. I scoured for the good books I wanted and bought a Babyji from Abha Dawesar, LA Candy and Sweet Little Lies from Lauren Conrad.

They had a sad little performance on a makeshift stage in KLCC, I liked the decoration though
